Horses on my mind

Ever since I had the dream about the Horse God, I can’t get horses off my mind. I am thinking about them constantly, imagining riding one, dreaming of them, and seeing toy horses I forgot we had all over the house…

I have also been looking for a Horse related item like crazy to either wear or add to my growing collection (will post on that soon, I promise). I am torn between finding a stone pendant or a tiny figurine. My husband suggested taking one of the small pony toys my eldest doesn’t play with anymore, and customizing it. I have been mulling that idea over as well.

I tried drawing a quick sketch of the Horse painting but it didn’t turn out quick like I wanted. I did color it in with crayons while playing with my 2 1/2 year old, she liked trying to help. I did realize I need to practice drawing horses more, because the legs ended up kinda stubby. >_< Just shows me I need to draw more in general.

I will post a picture of it to share anyways, because a work in progress or a practice is still important, even if it isn’t perfect.

About darkbookworm13

I am a proud mom to 3 beautiful girls, and married to the love of my life. I have been a practicing Witch since the summer of 2003, having studied many different paths over the years, ranging from Wicca, Goddess only worship (courtesy of StarHawk), Eclectic Paganism, Kitchen Witchcraft, Norse Paganism, Hearthcraft, Spiritual Luciferianism, and more. I have worked with the Futhark runes, Brian Froud's Faeries Oracle deck, Tarot decks, and I am currently working on a customized divination set based on collected items. I like to work with herbs, and gardening. I crochet and make handicrafts like wood burned items, paintings, drawings, toys, and hand sewn doll clothes for my daughters. The only title I call my spiritual path is Witchcraft, as using magic entwines deeply with the worship of the Gods who call me Their own. My Patron deity is Loki, who has chosen me as His kin.
